When we were developing this blend I had thought from very early on that we would be using a black tea base for it. This was one of those pleasant surprises where in the end I found the red tea version to be a bit more well rounded than the black, it's certainly sweeter. So, this one is really for those who want that caffeine kick or who find the standard version of Mince Pie Chai a little too apple-y.
